Samarinda – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Mulawarman University organized a Workshop on Assistance for the Preparation of the Self-Evaluation Report (LED) and Study Program Performance Document (DKPS) using the LAMDIK 3.0 Instrument. The activity was held over three days, from April 24 to 26, 2026, at Hotel Puri Senyiur, Samarinda.

This activity was part of the faculty’s strategic efforts to enhance academic quality and the governance of study programs, particularly in preparation for the accreditation process based on the Study Program Accreditation Instrument (IAPS) 3.0. This latest instrument emphasizes the importance of an outcome-based approach as well as comprehensive, data-driven performance analysis of study programs.

The workshop was attended by 55 participants, consisting of faculty leaders, quality assurance teams, lecturers responsible for preparing accreditation documents, and administrative staff. The event featured competent resource persons in the field of quality assurance and accreditation and was conducted through various methods, including lectures, focus group discussions (FGDs), simulations, and direct assistance in document preparation.

Throughout the workshop, participants gained an in-depth understanding of the structure and substance of LED and DKPS, techniques for preparing data-based documents, and strategies for facing field assessments. In addition, participants engaged in hands-on practice in drafting and reviewing documents for their respective study programs, resulting in initial drafts of LED and DKPS ready for further refinement.

This activity provided significant benefits for the study programs, including improved understanding of the latest accreditation instrument, enhanced technical competence in preparing analytical and systematic documents, and stronger integration between LED and DKPS. Furthermore, the workshop encouraged improvements in study program data management to ensure greater accuracy, validity, and proper documentation.

Through this activity, it is expected that all study programs will be better prepared to undergo the accreditation process by LAMDIK, both in the adequacy assessment and field assessment stages. More broadly, the workshop is expected to strengthen a culture of continuous quality improvement within the faculty and to increase the likelihood of achieving excellent accreditation ratings.

By organizing this workshop, FKIP Mulawarman University demonstrates its commitment to continuously improving the quality of higher education and enhancing its competitiveness at the national level.
